How to Setup and Access Your Microsoft 365 Email

The following instructions will walk you through the process for setting up and accessing your Microsoft 365 email using:

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer, or search for "Outlook" in Start Menu.
  2. Click FileAdd Account.
  3. Enter your Full Name, company-issued Email Address, and Password. Then, click Next.

  4. Follow all prompts until complete. Then, click Finish.

    ⚠  You will need to restart Outlook for the changes to take effect.

iPhone/iPad iOS Mail App

⚠  Estimated Duration: 10 Minutes

The following step-by-step instructions may vary based on the iOS version installed on your phone.

  1. Go to Settings > scroll to Mail > tap Accounts > tap Add Account.
  2. Select Microsoft Exchange.
  3. Enter your company-issued Email Address and Description (ex. "Work" or your company name). Then, tap Next
  4. Select Sign In, IF a message asks if you want to "Configure Manually" or "Sign In".
    ⚠  DO NOT select "Configure Manually".
  5. Enter your Password. Then tap, Sign In or Next.
  6. iOS Mail app may request additional permissions. Tap Accept.
  7. Choose the services you want to sync with your iOS device (ex. Mail, Calendar, and Contacts). Then, tap Save.

 

Android/Tablet Mail App

  1. Install the Microsoft Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open installed app, then tap Get Started.
    ⚠  IF you already have another email account setup in the app, simply add another email account by tapping Menu > More > Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account, and skip to Step 6 of these instructions.
  3. Outlook may detect your Google account(s). To add those Google account(s) to Outlook, tap Google Connect Account, then OK.
    Select the accounts you'd like to add, and tap Add Account. You may be asked to sign in.
    ⚠  IF you DO NOT want to add those Google account(s), tap Skip, and continue to Step 6.
  4. Tap Allow to give Outlook access to your Contacts.
  5. Tap Allow to confirm offline access and any other prompts.
  6. Enter your Full Name, then tap Continue.
    ⚠  IF you're asked to choose your provider, you'll need to set up your Exchange manually.
  7. Enter your company-issued Email Address and Password, and tap Sign In or Next.
    ⚠  IF Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled for your Microsoft 365 account, follow the MFA prompts to verify your identity.

Web Browser

  1. Open your web browser, and visit https://login.microsoftonline.com.
  2. Enter your company-issued Email Address and Password, and tap Sign In.
    ⚠  IF Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled for your Microsoft 365 account, follow the MFA prompts to verify your identity.
